Ok so it had been a while since I lived in an apartment... but stuff happened and I needed to find one fast. My bro and my cousin lived at Del Arte so I decided to get a place there. My bro and my cousin have a two bedroom with a lof. Since the day the moved in they had problems that never got fixed. But I figured my brother just didnt get off his butt and try to get stuff fixed.

I moved in on July 27th 08. The day after I got all my stuff moved in I did the walk through. There were a ton of problems. Screens were missing on two of the windows, the cabinet under the bathroom sink had a whole the size of a watermellon under it, the bath tub didnt drain and the garbage disposal didnt work... so the sink wouldnt drain. I turned this in July 28th. The leasing office said they would get it fixed right away. First week nothing happened, so I called. They said they would get to it right away. Next week nothing happened so I called again... they said they would be out there right away. At this time I asked them if my mail key had been made yet. No it wasnt made yet but they would get it soon. The third week I called every day cause nothing was getting fixed and I needed my mail. The begging of the 4th week I was told on a Monday that they had me on schedule and the maintence guys would be there that night. No one ever showed. The next day I went into the office. As you could imagin I was a lil upset. I told them I refused to pay my rent if this stuff didnt get fixed. The lady told me there was nothing she could do about it and I just had to wait. I stormed out and threw the door open. Then the lady came out running after me, yelling at me. Telling me that I should never come back to the leasing office. I was floored.

I did some research and finally did get ahold of the property owners phone number. I called them... got a receptionist. She took my info and I never got a call back.

This place is a joke. I finally did get my mail key... after I lived there a month!!!

I wish there was something we could do. This place is the worst. I want to talk to other residents. Please lets do something about this.
