Worst Apartment Ever!

These apartments are cheap. The carpet and tile is so disgusting that I wanted to break my lease within the first 2 days. The carpet is stained, there are bleach spots and holes and these are findings I've made within the preliminary inspection. The tile or whatever it is for some reason is yellow. The windows are dangerous to have open if you have small children, they go almost all the way to the floor. There are no washer dryer hookups in the unit. The leasing office smells of incense. The grounds are in disrepair. My neighbor was extremely disrespectful and obnoxious. Grounds keepers actually broke out the window of my car and the management did nothing. The management actually called me and asked my daughter to "keep her noise level down during the day" My daughter was 18months old at the time! The French Quarter cared more about my drug dealer neighbor sleeping all day than my innocent child being able to play during the day. Seriously man, get a real job. I've seen eviction notices more than a few times outside your door. At any rate if you like the smell of curry and cheap incense, and if you don't value yourself as a person give them a call. By the way, when I moved out I was charged for the bleach stains and holes in the carpet even though they were clearly reported upon my preliminary inspection. The only reason I agreed to move in here is because the leasing staff only shows the model apartment. Lesson learned: never sign a lease without inspecting the actual apartment first.
