Military! Stay away! And others: not worth the headaches

Early to middle 2008, this place was taken over by new management. Let me tell you, the old staff that worked here (which was GREAT by the way), all left within weeks. THAT should tell you what type of people would be managing your living conditions. The first noticeable change was the "We Welcome Our Military Families" sign, which was displayed prominently on the gate entrance, was taken down. I cannot speak for the entire staff because I have not had interaction with them all, but the few members I have had to deal with will SAY they are going to take care of issues, but never do. They run around, wasting time & energy putting on a show that they are going to fix an issue, but it never happens. I was even told once, after complaining that I almost got hit by a car coming IN the EXIT gates, they would put a memo in the "Newsletter" that they are going to do for all the residents to not drive through the Exit gates. That was when this new management first took over, and imagine that - no "Newsletter". The manager himself is NOT friendly, nor is he concerned with everyone's well-being. But you can believe his hand is out the beginning of each month for everyone's rent. It may be VERY close to Buckley AFB, but the commute to base would be worth living in a better, more caring place. The apartment itself isn't bad, but look at it like this: If you go to a restaurant with good food but crap service, chances are you'll never go back. Honestly, this was once a good place to live, not much within walking distance around it, but I overlooked that. Once this new management took over, it's spiraled down the commode. As far as any Military Families looking for a new place to live when coming into town: Management taking down the welcoming sign CLEARLY shows that they do not want to deal with the potential "loss" of families having to move out early due to deployments or assignments. When I first moved in, they waivered my deposit, SOLELY because I served our country. That was an awesome gesture! You can believe you won't get that from this regime.
