I have only been living at Greensview since June of this year, and I've already had NUMEROUS problems to deal with from them! For starters my roomates toilet would refill every 30 minutes. It took them 3 weeks to come out and "look" at it, EVEN THEN THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. We had to fill out another work order for the same issue and it took another 2 weeks for them to finally come out and fix the problem. When our water bill came it was triple what it should have been. I went to the leasing office and the apartement manager assured me nothing could be done about the over the top utility bill. They even lied and told me that the water readings were done by buildings and it was then divided up by each apartment, so in fact everyone had to pay the same amount. This sounded completely obsurd so I contacted Conserve Utilties and they told me it was read individually by each apartment and our water usage, for that month that our toilet was refilling every 30 minutes, was triple from the average trend dated all the way back to 2007! It wasn't until I called the leasing office and threatened to contact corporate if the bill wasn't lowered that they finally did something and agreed to credit us back half the outrageous amount. Less than 3 weeks later we had to complain about our fireplace. The pilot light was on by itself but made the fireplace so hot the outter covering glass could burn you! We filled out a work order and maintinance came by and even called his boss while he was in our apartement and they said they couldn't do anything about it but turn off the pilot light completely until the winter season came back around. Now again less than 1 month later we're having issues with our freezer it went completely out last week ruining all of our food! We once again filled out a work order to get it fixed someone came by and got it working, only to have it go out again today! I've been waiting over 3 hours now and haven't got a response from their supposebly "immediate emergency maintinance workers". The next step for us will be contacting corporate and if the problems continue I won't hestitate to take them to small claims court. I don't even want to continue with the lease anymore. This has been the biggest mistake to move here! I'm warning you. YOU WILL REGRET THIS MOVE! The layouts of the apartments are nice but the noise levels, kids running through the parking lots at ALL hours of the day AND NIGHT, and the unhelpful management is not worth the price or layout!

There are a few problems with this review. In order to bill water individually Aurora Water would have to install an individual counter for each apartment downstream from the meter pit. I looked up the meter locations with Aurora Water since I really had nothing better to do with my time yesterday. I found that not only are there no counters listed, most all of the water meters in the complex supply two or more buildings. Not only is water usage divided up between everyone in a building, it is quite often divided up by renters in two or three buildings. I also found that irrigation and maintenance have their own meters as well. Aren't public records great? Moving on. I looked at several apartments in the complex before I rented to gain an idea of what I was going to need for my family. I have yet to see anywhere in the complex a "gas" fireplace. Doesn't mean they don't exist, but I can't say I've seen one. I've never seen a pilot light, other then on a commercial range (restaurant stove) burn so hot that it could heat the glass to burning temps. Pilots are designed to be on all the time and burn at low temps with minimal gas usuage. There are slum-lord laws in Colorado that keep certain standards in place. Greensview is very aware of these laws. In my experience the maintenance staff here takes plumbing and gas issues very seriously. I had a leak in my shower that caused a wet spot in the ceiling of the apartment below me. Within an hour of taking a shower that morning I had maintenance knocking on my door to re-caulk the tub. As to a toilet that "refills" every 30 minutes: A toilet is a very simple appliance. Any item that would cause this issue would be in the tank. Any of these parts can be obtained for less than $15.00. A complete rebuild kit at home depot is $25.00. I see no reason why maintenance would be delayed in fixing this problem. Furthermore toilets dont just arbitrarily flush and refill on any kind of timed basis. If theres a leak in the flapper or overflow tube the toilet would run about every 5 minutes or so. It would have been easier on your part to turn the water off to the toilet and turn it on before you take care of your buisness. A minor problem to deal with for a day or two tops, except it would be in their interest to fix a problem like promptly to avoid a larger problem. I was a property manager for many years, i dealt with slum-lords quite often. I see know sign of that being the case here

Im glad you feel like you know every issue and how I am wrong but I pay a good amount of money to live here so I'm sure I would not be making all of this up. I have lived in 4 apartments prior to these and have NEVER had any issues as I had with Greensview. So thanks for your response but water usage divided up up would mean that I could run my water all day long and all the residents would suffer because of my neglect? Sounds pretty obsurd. Also I would be glad to send you a picture of the fireplace I know I'm not an expert with fireplaces but I also know I know the difference between a gas and a manual.
