This apartment complex was not concerned for their tenants what-so-ever. There were problems while living there that ranged from loud music, to theft, to rape, to bad heating and air conditioning, to animal droppings that made it impossible for us to benefit completely from our apartment.
The leasing team was wonderful when we were signing all of our paperwork and what not as was the management, but as soon as they have you in their grips you are then nothing and they have no concern for your well being.
I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Also, military personnel, beware that they are quick to lose your orders and try to collect your money after the fact and put bad marks on your credit reports even when you are "paid in full" when you depart. (Yes, even though they do have a very appealing military clause in their contract.)
Everyone will make their own opinion about the complex but as to what I can share you really do want to avoid Hickory Ridge at all costs.
