I lived at the Hickory Ridge Apartments for 14 months. It was a huge mistake moving there. The apartment wasn't even ready the day I was going to move in. My dishwasher was in pieces. The carpet and apartment had not even been cleaned. Within three months my car was broken into and the management didn't care. The heat sucks and I had to buy space heaters to stay warm. The management and the maintenance do not do their job. It takes several phone calls to get any response and that's if your lucky. I had to contact the BBB because the light was out in the parking lot for months and I could not get them to fix it. I had roaches in my apartment. I am a clean person and there is no reason for me to have to live with roaches. About four months ago I someone tried to break into my place. Again, management didn't give a crap. If you want your stuff stolen, this is the place to be. When I moved out, I scheduled a walk though with management. She was so impressed by the way I took care of it. I was also told that I would get my deposit back. A month later I received a bill for $175.00 on top of the deposit for a lot of damage that I did not cause. I have called several times to try and get my money back but as usual I am getting no response.
