Not a safe place to live

I have lived here for about 8 months now and I can't wait to move. It seems live every other day, someones car is being broken into and apartments are being burglarized. I can't understand why the owners of this complex doesn't hire a security guard from dusk till dawn. I have spoken to the manager of the complex and her reply was that it is up to us as tenants to be vigilant and report anything unusual. Thats all fine and good, but I don't know many people that stay up all night. Just to show you how bad it is, my vehicle was vandalized, my brother who also lives here had his car broken into twice, my cousin got his car broken, and my neighbors car was also broken into. I wasn't even aware of the burglaries till I spoke to a local police officer that worked this area. He is in charge of the whole area between Colfax, Alameda, Chambers and Airport. And he was perfectly clear to say that the Highline Village Apartments is "plagued" with break-ins. It's really too bad since the apartments are pretty decent looking.
Parking is pretty bad. The spaces are crazy thin and sometimes your forced to double park. No way would I park my vehicle in the "circle of doom", (thats Jasper Crl.) I park on the main road by the pool. I figure thats the most lit area their is.
