Where do I start...

This place is by far the worst complex I have ever lived in. The most recent experience I had at Kennedy Ridge was one of the worst of my life. My apartment was broken into, and everything I owned was taken from my apartment. On top of it all, they took my car keys from my apartment and took off with my car. I lost everything that I had worked my entire life to acquire.

Of course, KR will take no responsibilty and has left me to deal with the situation myself. When the cops came, they said that they were called to the complex on a daily basis. Unaccepptable.

After this event I contacted Management about terminating my lease prematurely. I havn't gotten a definate answer yet, but it sounds like I will be screwed out of my last two months of rent, even though I will not be living there. Hey, atleast I won't have much to move.

Everything that everyone else has said in their reviews is basically correct. I have shared similar experiences in regards to noise, maintenance and security.

It all started when I decided to move to Colorado after college. I was unfamiliar with the area and was looking for a place that would be close to work (I work in DTC).

I visited KR, and it seemed Ok when I was taken on the tour. Of course, they only informed me of the 'good' things about the complex, and often overexaggerated.

After I moved in in January, it did not take me long to figure out that police visits to the complex were an everyday occurence. I was skeptical about many of my neighbors as they don't speak English and were up all night. I was amazed to see the same people playing basketball during the day and lurking around the complex at night. Not sure if they had jobs, or what.

Anyway, DO NOT LIVE HERE, if you value security, privacy and peacefulness.

I feel for you. Our "security" door was broken forever. It took them a few months to fix it, but they didn't do anything but add a few bolts and washers to try to hold it closed. What they should have done was replace the whole door. Sorry this happened to you. This place blows donkeys.

I agree - this place is HORRIBLE!!! It's for drunks and drug dealers - even if it is cheap! Our building door was broken the entire time, and they NEVER fixed it (even though they were court ordered to not only fix it but also change the locks! after the leasing office gave a key to a NON-resident!!!!), but never did!

I absolutely hated that place - fortunately the drug dealers living below me were pretty nice - except on my last day there, they insisted I came down to "do crack" with them! I ran as fast as I could out of that ghetto slum! And, my car was broken into - my stereo and ALL of my cd's were taken (my fault for leaving them in there)...and the next morning, three other cars parked right next to mine were broken into!

And, yes, the management is absolutely worthless!!!!!!!
