So I just moved in the 1st of Feb. so many things were wrong with the apt. I had to call in maint request to get them fixed. Funny thing is, they were things that were supposed to be done during the make ready of the apt. I know as I have and currently work in the apt field. Thank goodness I don't work here. So on top of all of that. The people above me are always smoking pot which seeps into my apt at all hours of the day. The guy is constantly yelling at his kids. They are throwing things, and more. To say the least you hear every single thing from every apt.

Ok even more. The carport that is right in front of my building has no area that people can walk through unlike all the rest of the carports throughout the property. There are cars always parked in the carport spots and we have to walk thru the mud, snow, etc to get to our vehicles (for those of us who don't have a carport). Such an inconvenience.

On top of that, when it snows, the next day when it is melting it melts off the roof of the carport behind the backs of the vehicles under the carport and then melts into ice. When moving in here, my nightstand fell and busted due to the ice. I have fallen twice now due to the ice. The last snow we got, they didn't even bother to clear off the steps to the bldg. Nearly fell on the steps of ice.

This place is a hell-hole. I have sent messages via the property website, no response. I had to do that, because can't ever get ahold of anyone by phone. Don't even try to call the police about anything, they won't show up. I can't wait to move out of here.

gosh there are so many problems here. The laundry rooms are so nasty. There is always liquid detergent all over the washers. I am disgusted at the thought of washing my clothes in there, but really have no choice. Dryers have broken parts even on the inside of the dryer.

You want action on your problems? Do I like I did when i worked there and call Thompson-Michie (I think that's how you spell it). They own Kennedy ridge. You can request their number from the leasing office. If they will not give it to you, look on your lease and the info should be on there. Once you call them, politely explain your issues and tell them you want it "corrected" or else you will see the Rent Control Board and go to the newspapers. You'll be surprised how quickly they will help you.
