I have only lived here for 6 months but it has been a horrible 6 months. The neighbors are rude and play loud music in the early morning and late night, I reported them numerous times but nothing changed. Then, not only that but if you have children if they so much as drop a crumb on the floor you will have bugs and ants for days. The owners of this complex have no reasonable accommodations, they've gone through 4 Managers within the last 6 months. I have lived here for 10 months and still haven't had the maintenance done that we documented ever since we moved in. I am a maintenance tech myself and the maintenance has no idea of how to do the job or even get the job done right and/or on a timely manner. I have applied with this company at this property and three others and have not received a position due to their lack of competence, budgeting, and excuses. They'd rather swindle tenants into paying ridiculous utilities and rent, whenever they don't even imply it towards the work that needs to be done. I have worked with this company through a Temp agency for 4 months and the things that I've found out with this is worse than even living at this complex. They have no stability in their management, ownership, maintenance, and corporate decisions. All they want to do is to take over these low income apartments and make them out to be A company, when in fact I rate them at an F, for their failure to implement the necessary aspects. They have been reported several times to the State of Colorado Health Dept. due to the cockroach and bedbug infestations. The work that needed to be done even when we did the walkthrough when we first moved in in Jan. 2008 was never done when it should've been even when they did the turnover. The state even had to do two inspections and they still never even got the work done. Even at another property that I worked at,(the same company). The state was ready to shut it down do to their lack of ethics and timely manner of the project. In my advice to anyone looking for an apartment, do not waste your time with renting or even applying for a job position with any AMC properties. The corporate, the management, and even the people they choose to hire proves they have no intellectual competence and/or ethics.
