I have been living at ODP for about 8 months, and I wish I had come across this site sooner.
My heat bill as been near the $200 mark for 3 months in a row, and I can't even get the manager to talk to me face to face. All I get are letters of denial taped to my door. It is true also, you don't get your heat bill until the 28th or 29th and rent is due on the 1st. The water has been shut off at least twice a month since I moved in, and my A/C broke at leat 15 times this summer.. (Good luck getting someone to look at that.) Management companies just changed, but the new manager is just as diffucult to deal with. Oh, also, don't expect any privacy, the office staff, and maintenance come and go as they please, without bothering to even try to call you. I can also confirm that yes, in the storage area files are just laying around, however the storage area is locked, and you have to get a key from the office to get in there. (They don't go with you tho)
