I moved into these places and quite simply felt like a very under-appreciated as a tenant. The apartment smelled like smoke when I first moved in (as someone who doesn't smoke, you can imagine - I have to LIVE here) - So, I called the management office. They tried 'something' to fix the smell. It didn't help. So, I called again, and they basically told me to take a hike.
I own a medium-sized business. I hate it when customers call and call and call about problems, and, if it isn't my businesses problem, I will tell them that. However, if the problem is our responsibility, we always take care of them. Its just bad business practice & ethics. At the very least, they could have offered me a different unit.

I feel you.... we will prob NOT renew our lease. There is a brand new complex next door being built.... hmm.... :) We have people above us that blast music... the water gets shut off every week... the management is RUDE and they do nothing if you have complaint for the most part.

The management doesn't care. I have called the city before because they just ignore tenants problems.
