I get so sick of management coming to these rating sites and saying "No, the rest are lying, listen to me, this place rocks" ... well hear this and let me give you some tips to see for yourself and not listen to them .. nor me for that matter.. You can see the mess from outside - just look for it while you go in to talk to them ....

Before you even go into the leasing office - take a look at the door - take a look at the grounds around the building, take a look at the nice water spout.

Okay, now drive around to the back - take a look at the buildings - the paint job - get out of your car and look at the "nice" brick colums - you will find that they are done horribly - look at the ground below you - you will find the side walks un-even and cracked - you will find over grown bushes - trash - broken into cars and glass everywhere!

Then, call the leasing office and ask them when they plan to paint - to clean the chimneys, to clean up the parking lots - you will be told that they dont have the budjet to do this - which I was told when I moved in - however, the new door on the leasing office went in years after I moved in.

They spent good money on making the show apartments looking great - and over all they pretty much look like what you will get. The noise level here is hell and they dont care about noise complaints. I will admit that the walls here are thick and it's hard to hear through them - but when your neighbors decide that throwing each other against the walls is a great place to fight - you will see how thin they really are! Nothing will even be done with your coplaints - dont' bother calling.

The parking garages - they charge you more to park there and yet your car will be stole or broken into - the gates are never closed and it gives great cover to those who want to break in.

I knew the person who lived in the apartment where he said "Ridge hill is an understatement". He lived in hell! His apartment was not level one bit and they never did anything about it. His place flooded and they charged him to clean the carpets after it - WTF' They charged him to replace the broken ---- that was broken when he first moved in - they charged him for the broken blinds on the living room window which fall down all the time - they charged him up the ass for stuff he never did in the first place.

Dan does sell drugs and in fact - I have bought from him.

The leasing office dose not react fast when it comes to problems. They tell you "They will be there soon". Which you always need to call them 3 times to get anything done.

The alarm systems are gone. They came into my place with no warning and took them out. They let my cat out while they were here and I had to go find her 2 days later when I got back from vacation. The fireplaces have bad drafts (Yes I shut the thingy).

They will put big orange stickers on your windshield if your plates are ABOUT to expire - yet a car sits for 2 years and they leave it be.

The landry room eats your money - so does the soda machine - yet I see they did replace that 4 years later - so that's good I guess.

They dont let you use the club house - that's just a thing they tell you.

NEVER NEVER NEVER let UPS leave a package at the leasing office. You will never see it again, they put it into a big closet with all the others and it WILL get stolen!

This place ... the apartments are nice. They are old - but nice for the age. However, everything else about them is horrible and I plan to move out as soon as I can. I live here and have for 4 years because I have been dealing with it to save money - but now I'm about to go out of my mind!

People who live here now - know this - people who move in today are paying 405 a month for 1 bed, when my friend who is in a 1 bed here pays over 615 a month - what a way to say "Thanks for being here so long!"

Don't listen to managment coming in here trying to fool you! I know your smarter then that ... but they dont think you are.

Please do look, They have re done all the grounds and they look nice. I have only lived here a year and havent had a problem. There is always Police at the place next door though! Ive only seen one here and it was with an ambulance...this isnt the best neighborhood but I feel safe in my home.
