I lived at Saddle Ridge Village for almost a year, and while it looks asthetic and many amenities are promised, it has been my experience that what is promised is not what you get. Many of the original amenities did not pan out and most of what was there, access rules changed on. We often recieve changes about access, etc., ie: pool access was given to children under 16, now without warning it is changed to no one under 18 without a parent. We were told this was a very kid-friendly place however our children and others' children were sternly reprimanded, many times causing small children to cry when they went into the clubhouse. They are not allowed in the back of the clubhouse now without parent supervision--even to use restrooms or parent's keys will be permanently confiscated. Trash compactors were centrally located, now they are a hike to get to from most buildings. If you want to set a bag out while cleaning and hike it over later, expect to pay a fine. The pool was closed several times during the summer as we were told inspecters would close it because of chemical levels, or people would poop (sorry) in it and they would close it for the day. I was told that I needed to wash my dishes before putting them in my low end dishwasher, it was really just for sterilizing.
