Highly overpriced for the lack of service

I am in agreement with previous reviews that having to hike to one of two trash compactors that are always full is ridiculous. And yes, free curbside trash service is available twice a week - but why pay $1300 a month in rent to have piles of garbage stacked up in front of your building'! Not only is it unsightly, but its unsanitary.
They advertise a "gated community" but those skinny little parking garage arms arent going to stop anyone from entering the property. Not to mention the fact that they only work 50% of the time anyway.
For being new construction, the building is poorly insulated between floors. At one point, my upstairs neighbors were so noisy that they managed to shake our closet light loose from the ceiling sending it to the floor in a million tiny glass shards!
We choose an apartment that faced what we thought would be a beautiful courtyard. As soon as the grass was put in and the volleyball court set up, it was apparent that living by the courtyard was our worst decision yet. Over the summer we called the police no less than 8 times to complain about druken idiots playing volleyball at 2am.
I was disappointed to learn that an "A" class property was home to so many "D" class residents. One night a neighbor of ours across the courtyard was being rude and rowdy around midnight. Out of frustration my husband told her he was going to call the police. She hollered back that she was the police! Sure enough, she was a uniformed officer. Yeah, those are the kind of people you want to be protecting you.
I now pay half as much rent as I did in Saddle Ridge for a apartment 30 years older, but am SO much happier for it.
