It's miserable; and the mgmt is horrible!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived in this apartment complex for a year, and I will never live here again once my lease is up.
The main problem with this place: THE STAFF. I have never met anyone as rude as the assistance manager Keisha. A few of the other staff members are at least friendly to your face- she, however, doesn't seem to care if you lived or died in your apartment as long as you continue paying rent. Even if the others are friendly- they aren't helpful. They just tell you whatever they can to get you out of their office, because somehow with the hundreds of dollars we are paying in rent, it is WE that are the burden and supposed to be serving them. The smiles leave once you sign the lease. After they have you locked in (with a break-lease fee of over $1500), they could care less about your problems.
And they never answer the phone. I have left 3 weeks (THREE!) of messages with NO RESPONSE. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency b/c the complex may have been burned down.
The apts are nicely done for the most part, and the grounds attractive- but they don't clean the grounds very well- you might as well start picking up the trash yourself.
I would not recommend anyone live here because of the treatment that I received from the staff. They are completely rude. Switching management companies didn't really seem to make a change for them- their biggest mistake was keeping Keisha. I went in to even check on moving into a bigger apartment (mistake #1) and ended up talking with Keisha (mistake #2) who was so full of disdain and unhappiness, that I didn't even want her help. She didn't care if I stayed, moved out, got another apartment or lived on the streets. She is unfeeling. Try to avoid working with her if you go.
