I just went in to the office to pay my final rent, and although I am relieved to finally be done with this place, I am angry and annoyed because my final interaction with the staff was just like every other interaction I have had with this place over the last 12 months- ( unpleasant ). For at least the 5th time they have sent me a bill with the wrong rent amount to pay. ( when you pay the amount they ask you to pay and it's wrong, they send you threatening letters demanding the difference- I have gotten several of those due to THEIR mistakes ). This month, I was given one figure by the resident manager for my pro-rated final 1/2 month here ( without the final utilities, which changes every month and is included in the rent, so you never know what your actual rent amount will be ).Then their billing company sent me a bill for another amount- for a full month, instead of 1/2 a month. I came in to the office to straighten out what the correct amount to pay should be- including utilities- and the office lackey got out her calculator and gave me a third amount. I went to the store and was standing in line about to buy the money-order, when it occured to me that it would be fool-hardy of me to just assume that she had added correctly, so I asked to use the clerk's calculator while the people behind me waited. And sure enough, the third amount I was given would have been incorrect as well, due to an obvious math error on her part that left out one of the utilities. They have done this crap to me so many times that I actually EXPECT the amount given to pay to be wrong, so I guess I am learning...Hopefully the fourth figure I came up with is the correct one. If not, I am sure I will be getting yet another demand for payment soon.... The confusion and incompetence are par for the course around here, and I have come to just accept it with a sigh , and a shrug of the shoulders. What I have NEVER gotten used to though, is the insults, hatered ,lies, and mockery of the office staff that gets heaped on me whenever I wander into the office to attempt to just get a straight answer from them as to what I need to pay each month, or to try to get a service-request completed ( that's a whole other story, and a completely hopeless waste of time. If you plan to live here, I'll save you the time and trouble of the ten fruitless phone calls you will be making to get something fixed. They arent coming. Bring your own tools with you ). Just to give an example of what you have to put up with as a resident of Stone Cliff Heights, when I came in today to try and figure out what I should pay THIS month, I apparently wasnt grateful enough to the office girl who gave me the third ( incorrect ) figure to pay, and as I was leaving the office she threw a sarcastic "your welcome" at me. ( Being the rude fellow I am, I guess I hadnt thanked her for the PRIVELEGE of wasting my day off by having to come down to their lair of stupidity in yet ANOTHER futile attempt to extract accurate information from these buffoons.) The sarcasm, the mockery, and the blatant lies ( not once have they ever followed-up on a single thing they have ever told me they were going to do )are just the salt that gets rubbed into the wound when having to deal with these people's constant befuddlement, laziness, and dishonesty. Look, I am not new to renting. I know how it goes- most property management companies care primarily about getting their rent, and service is-at best an afterthought. I accept that as calmly as I can as a renter, and loook forward with hope to home-ownership someday. I walked into this place with low expectations and eyes wide open. But even I was surprised at how incredibly hateful and obnoxious the staff is here. It's not enough for them to just provide lousy service- they have to insult you and make you dread every interaction with them as well. It's not so much that I didnt want to renew my lease, it's just that I felt like I COULDNT do so, as a matter of principle, when the staff has done everything in their power to make me feel unwlecome, every chance they got, the whole time I lived here. SO I am taking my money elsewhere. What else can I do' To all would-be renters here, I PROMISE you this from the bottom of my heart- you CAN do better than Stone Cliff Heights. PLEASE dont be fooled by the pretty model, and the nice landscaping... you WILL be treated like garbage by the staff once they have you locked into an agreement that you cant get out of. There ARE some other good properties not too far away that are just as nice looking, without you having to tolerate the attitude of these hateful -------! Do yourself a favor and listen to the other people who have commented here, if you think I am biased or unreasonable. My final thought upon leaving Stone Cliff Heights'...I think that putting a hateful, condescending, and obnoxiuous person like the resident manager here ( Keisha ) in a customer-service position is the moral equivilant of putting Iran on the United Nations Human Rights Comission- they are both fundamental injustices in the sense that both of them JUST DONT BELONG THERE, and the sense that innocent people have to suffer needlessly as a result!
PS- They dont answer their phones, and they dont return calls. Know that in advance.
PSS- If you have small children, I have to warn you that the main drive through this place is like a NASCAR race. I have personally witnessed kids come VERY close to being killed by idiots racing around the blind corners at 40MPH. They wont install speed-bumps because a child's life is worth less to them than a cheap hump of aspault. That's just one more example about how they dont care about anthing but money, money, money.
PSS- The snow removal is non-existant. Even with front-wheel drive, I ( and many many others ) got stranded in the driveway this winter and had to miss work because the plows dont show up for days after a big snow. The city streets are cleared promptly, but not they dont do private property. If there is a blizzard coming, be sure to park across the street at King Soopers, as it'll be your only hope to get to work the next morning.
PSS Pigeon ---- everywhere!

WOW I wish I reviewed this site before signing my lease, I was sucked in by a very nice lady and a lovely modle and of course the landscaping, I do have a small child thank you for the heads up and my husband is in the military and is needed to be at work every morning his job is very VERY vital (all I can say) so if the snow plow does not show up I will be printing all of these comments and showing up with possible lawsuit actions to leave. And to think I asked if you can hear your neighbors at all and she said no she could never hear hers, and I asked if this was a safe family oriented property and of course she said yes, I will wait 6 months before posting my review.
