So Long and Good Riddance!!

I have lived here since 2003 and have put up with MANY management company and personnel changes - none of them have been as bad as the current management/maintenance staff. Things are never taken care of until legal action is threatened. You can never talk with the manager - she's always at another complex. Doesn't matter what time of day or night that you try and get in touch with her, she's NEVER there. I have to agree with several other posters that the staff are nice, but totally incompetent. I've not had the run-ins with Keisha that have been described, HOWEVER, I can totally see that she would act in the manner described by others - she certainly has than in her.
Maintenance is an absolute joke and completely non-existent. My thermostat has never worked properly - and I had to pay a flood claim because of it. My pilot light kept going out. Did they fix it' No. They just sent their flunkies over to re-light the pilot. No one ever took the next step to try and figure out WHY the light kept going out. That would have meant work and using a brain.
The grounds are never kept clean and the grass is rarely cut or maintained. The trash areas are always filthy, with holes in the access doors and trash piling up everywhere. There is broken glass all over the complex.
Make sure you bring a shovel with you, in case it ever snows, because they don't do any removal on site. I even had to buy salt to lay down in front of my garage to deal with the massive ice patches because the snow never gets removed.
There was a break-in on March 30/31 of this year to my garage and I was not the only one hit - the office was completely blasse about it, they didn't seem to care at all and were actually somewhat upset with me that I reported it to the police. I still think that it was an inside job - about $7500 worth of stuff gone. When I was in the office reporting it, another resident came in to report that hers was hit. I let her use my phone to call the police and was told that I shouldn't have done that - it was the other resident's responsibility to call on her own. The staff was also upset that we had even come in to report it because "there are potential residents in here and we don't want them to get any wrong impression. You could have just left us a message that this supposedly happened." Hello - red flag for an inside job!!
They have also stopped answering their phones entirely. They have an answering service on pretty much all of the time and you can never get through to the office anymore. You have to leave a message with some call center.
This is NOT the place to live - there are many other options in the area that I'm sure will serve a renters needs better than this place.
