Formerly known as Tollgate Creek (now Silverbrook) was the worst possible choice I could have made in moving to an apartment. When I moved in, my apartment wasn't even clean. While my stay there was a little over 2 years, we went through 4 managers,2 of which had a written agreement with me that I would not be required to clean my apartment when I moved out, only to find out that the managers of Silverbrook do not honor anything from prior managers (forewarning to those of you that were ever promised anything that had nothing to do with you). Also during my stay, we had a guy who tried to break in while I was home and wouldn't leave as well as constant drama from the neighboring buildings in the parking lot (almost every night of the week).I also had the the pleasant experience of reporting the same group of individuals to management on several occasions only to find that nothing was done until I witnessed someone almost getting stabbed to death in the parking lot and have also seen several drug raids by the Aurora Police department during my stay. The management is terrible and rude, really only there to make a buck and sign new apps and the parking.... hahaha, don't even get me started. The limit is supposed to be 2 vehicles per apartment I believe. We had people throwing parties at night and the whole time we are complaining to management about letting them park in what should be our parking spaces. Renters were having their vehicles towed because they had to park illegely since there are no surrounding areas to really park around the buildings besides the spaces designated to that specific building. I remember one night I had to park in the community college parking Lot (about 3 blocks away) because there was a party going on and no parking available...where was management' Needless to say, my experience with this apartment complex was horrendous and I wouldn't recommend or wish it on my worst enemies.

I agree. I live there now on the same side those parties are being thrown. They also can't keep track of anything. I've been threatened eviction 3 times even though I paid my rent on time. There is no parking after 9 pm because they are plenty of abandoned cars on the lot. The staff is rude, their problems are somehow YOUR fault. And you aren't getting what you paid for, the toilet doesn't work, the thermostat can't set, the fridge rocks and there's paint spots all around which I'll probably get charged for on my leave from this DUMP!
