Under Fairfield, this complex was horrid. Inadequate lighting and maintenance personnel and staff that didn't care. That management company treated residents like a statistic, nothing more than a filled unit. Fairfield even brought tenants in that were rather scary. As of December 15, 2008, the property was purchased and taken over by Kevlyn Investments.
Since the new management company took over the complex, they have made a significant impact to the property. Maintenance issues are corrected in a timely manner and the first time. The property manager even came to my apartment after a leak from upstairs caused damage in my unit in the middle of the night to survey the amount of damage and make sure my property was not harmed, and he kept in constant contact with me throughout the repairs to make sure everything was done right. They have rebuilt the trash facilities, are replacing the laundry facilities with newer units, and remodeling units. The staff is kind, courteous and respectful. They regularly treat the tenants like they are honored and privileged to have that person as a resident. They brought in a new security company to patrol the property after hours, increased lighting, and have removed elements that made the complex a dangerous place. The other tenants that I have spoken to have also noticed the changes that the new management company has made.
All in all, Kevlyn Investments has made the property a home, and improvements are being made every day to make the property a better place.
