I have been waiting for 3 months now to get my deposit back. Everytime I call I talk to a different clown at their office, with a different answer. Supposedly the checks have been sent out and I should have it within two weeks. Anyway.... I can only agree with every other review on this site. I can't wait to get this chapter closed and delete their "useless" phonenumber from my cell.
AGAIN, best advise I can give....... NEVER RENT HERE. It's not worth the headache.

Colorado Revised Statute states that they can owe you up to triple the amount of your deposit if they fail to give it back to you in time. http://www.tenant.net/Other_Areas/Colorado/crs/103.html Apparently you have to give them notice of your intent to take legal action 7 days before doing so, but sheesh, if it takes much longer, it may be worth it. 3 months is ridiculous.

Yeah and when I moved out I told them I wanted to do a walk through with them so they could show me anything they planned to deduct from the deposit. (Everyone should always do this) They said absolutely but would never agree to a time. Finally I agreed to just let them call me when they made their decision so we could discuss my repairing any damage they claimed to find at the best price we could get. Months later after I had given up on them keeping their word, they sent me my deposit check. They had kept some of it but I could never get a human being on the phone again and they never returned any voice mails!! They are lucky I didn't feel like taking legal action.

We have been waiting for a deposit since October 2008. We went to the office today and learned that we have to put a lien on the Bethany Group in order to get back our deposit that was $500. Now we are owed $1500. If anyone is interested in putting a lien on and filing to take them to court, PLEASE contact me at 303-847-2380. Aparently the bethany group is bankrupt and left the apartments to pretty much die and their employees didn't even get paid. SP please contact me if you are interested in getting your deposit back. I think if there are enough of us filing a suit then they have to listen. Scarlett Jo 303-847-2380
