We just moved in a few months ago. Like many of the other reviewers, problems noted upon move-in have NEVER been fixed (it took 3 weeks and several serious phone messages just to get them to fix the AC, which was totally out of service, IN THE SUMMER!), i.e., a loose front door, loose window screens, "debris" under the new carpet (I think it may be bolts or nails) that hurts bare feet, a broken icemaker, a fridge that freezes almost everything even on the highest safe temperature setting, a closet railing that collapsed, and the kicker (and most recent issue), a cracked tub liner that's causing water to seep thru the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom, which is giving off a rather moldy smell. This may be a health risk--I will be calling the health department if they continue to ignore our requests to have it examined. They have even lied about doing work that wasn't completed or even begun. ARGH! Oh, and the amount of spiders that get in is just ridiculous.

Oh, and can someone explain how two working adults generate an $80/mo water bill' It was less than HALF that when we lived in Thornton!

We are MISERABLE. Please post advice on how to break a lease here due to poor/nonexistent maintenance! This place is terrible!

wow... the place hasn't changed. We had the same problem with the fridge, and pipes leaking through the closet (leaving moldy stains and ruining the linens too!). And I lived there with my family 10 yrs ago. Maybe try talking to a lawyer about breaking the lease, because it is a contract.
