So I when I start a project I make sure that I do my best before completion and finding my first apartment was no different. It took me almost a month of searching numerous apartment finder websites, cross referencing against the reviews on this site, and going to see them but I finally came to the conclusion that this one would be the best for me and my boyfriend. Now the staff leaves a little to be desired, but when you're working alone on a Saturday I think you have the right to be a little tired. I like the floorplan and the complex is super quiet (even with kids). A couple of things though: (1) the bedroom in the model apartment is SIGNIFCANTLY larger than my bedroom now. I mean they fit a queen-sized bed and a full dresser with mirror in there and I sure can't do that. (2) The drainage is ehhh. My shower and sink in the bedroom don't drain as fast as water comes in and it is really annoying to have to wait for the tub to drain before I can clean it. (3) I LOVE the closet. That thing is like another bedroom! As far as noise, I must be a really heavy sleeper because I can hear nothing. Good parking, close to Havana for good shopping and I-225 so I can get to work (Five Points) and school (JWU) fairly easily. I might be in that "honeymoon" phase, but as long as things continue to go the way they are now I don't see why I would ever progress to the next phase.
