The staff at Bear Creek was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nicely furnished (beds are a little stiff), but mostly undamaged. The prices were average for Boulder, but the lack of flexibility from the apartment's management made it hard for me to live there as a student-- the only accomodations provided for study abroad students was a "subleasing" list. The lease is not monthly, but yearly; this means that if you can't afford to live there any more, they'll take it up with a collections agency whether you reside there or not. Business office was very nice, especially considering the pay to print initiative on campus.

actually i think that the office staff is incompetant, nice yes, but they are only there because they live there for free. the furniture also in shotty since it's so cheep. and yes i do agree that the year lease is basically impossible to work with if anything comes up. the rent is way too expensive for what they offer. i dont even have a closet to hang my coat or store a vacuume, since they don't offer one to use.
