Although many of the other reviews complain of countless problems at Bear Creek, they really were forseen. Parking IS expensive, but this was never a surprise to me. Plus, try finding free or cheap parking in Boulder that is easy and well lit. As far as the Buff Bus, again, I knew that it was part of what I was getting in to when moving in. CA's rarely really do their jobs, so they are nothing to worry about. All you'll get from them is a polite warning in most cases. The rent is pretty high, but what else is new for Boulder, and still NO SURPRISES there. Maintenance is prompt and does enter when they please, but when the lease was signed, that was part of the agreement. Additionally, when you call for maintenance you are usually asked if it is ok for them to come without you being there. As for noise/fire alarms/internet, they are quite annoying, but what can you expect' You're living in STUDENT HOUSING. The things to actually beware of are the fact that the managment is not very helpful in a lot of cases, and their hours seem reasonable but nobody who actually has information you need is there past 4:00pm. Also, they charge all different rents depending on how much you ----- at them, so try negotiating. Mail is slow.
