Now, if there is anyone qualified to write a review it is I. I have been here for two years for the simple fact that my scholarship will not let me live "off-campus
." Therefore, I'm stuck for the duration of my eduation. Mind you, it has been a hellish two years of living.

Firstly, the management has changed from American Campus Communities to The Colorady Housing Administration. However, the staff has remained the same so incompetence still swells within these walls.

Secondly, if you have expectations of an actual apartment-like living environment, you are sadly mistaken. These are upperclassmen dorms. Thats it. The so called CA's do nothing to enforce the 24 hour quiet hour paragraph that is actually included in the lease. I've had to call the police on several occasions just to get the neighbors to turn down their music on a tuesday morning at 2:30 am. As a graduate student, I can not afford these types of outrages.

Thirdly, the Internet provided by the complex is laughable. As a telecommunications student, the Internet is my livelihood. Fusion Broadband is the Satellite TV and Internet provider. The connection runs, on average, at a data rate of 500Kbps. This is half of what regular, bottom-line DSL runs at (1.5Mbps). And to add to the stupidity, Fusion only allows each resident a 24 hour data transfer amount of 250MB. This means that streaming audio, video, Microsoft/Mac Software updates are going to put you over the limit. Once a resident crosses the threshold, their connection severly degrades. However, it matters very little since their network is horrible to begin with. In their benevolent wisdom, they decided that a 10Mbps connection would be adequate for 300 residents. As a Telecom Graduate student, all I can say to that is wow, read a book because at the professional level, thats disgusting.

Lastly, the furniture is terrible, the beds are large pieces of plywood, at least thats what they feel like. The power goes out at any given time so be sure to put some batteries in your alarm clock. And the trash rooms have gone from bad to unusable.

Find residency elsewhere, I beg you. This is not the place for any aspiring student, especially one that wishes to get and education without the hassles of a troubled living environment.

Any recourse from them would mean I could fill this place with enough litigation to run them out of business. On a lighter note, the complex is close to a gas station :)
