Don't live here. the rent is a descent price but that's where the good things stop.
our thermostat has been broken since we moved in. they have been in 3 times to fix it and it never gets done. on one side of the apartments it is super hot (my roomie's computer overheated and broke because it got over 100 degrees while at class) and on the other side it's freezing.
also, the internet sucks!! you get 250 MG to download a day and then they limit your bandwidth. also, i have had generally slow internet all year! they say they are "taking care of it" but i have seen nothing of the sort.
the office hours during breaks are extremely limiting and the manager is hard to come by.
there are 3 of us in our 4 person room and we were randomly assigned a roommate. he eventually moved out and bear creek stuck us with another roommate with NO HEADS UP! i came home from class one day to half a dozen people touring the apartment. no notice on the door, nothing! the next day he way moving in. again, no notice on the door, no e-mail, no phone call.
Vandelism/ security is a joke. there are broken light fixtures, pulled fire alarms, and extreme vandelism in the parking lot. (another roomie had a fence post dropped through his back windshield). there are no security cameras anywhere/ anything else in the parking lot to prevent vandelism.
The trash rooms smell constantly and stink up the sorrounding area (hallways, elevators)
The Guest parking permits are a pain because they are only good for 24 hours and there is no way to get a permit/ avoid a sticker on your window after hours.
you might as well live in the dorms again at least you'll get a cafeteria!!

If you can't live with the internet being as horrible as it is, I would recommend getting DSL from Qwest. I'm fairly certain that I was the first one to actually get it working here, after MANY misgivings from the management. However, it can be done and I currently receive 3Mbps up/580 down, compared to what Fusion, the ISP for the complex offers, which is 256Kbps up/down. If you want any more info on it, let me know -- worosylo@colorado.edu
