My son tried to rent an apartment here after a referral from the University of Colorado system, because the dorms were full. They put him high on their waiting list, and assured him on several phone calls that he would easily get a roommate in a two-bedroom apartment. They never told him he had to pay $75 to be on the listing, and subsequently removed him from the list without telling him. I later was told by them that this was the first year they even created a waiting list, so they had no idea if he would have even obtained an apartment even if he had remained on their list.
I am unclear if these people are dishonest or if they are just uncaring and incompetent.
