Someone said there are no R.A.'s, just C.A.'s. Rest assured, the difference is one letter. I got busted for a peculiar "boulder" smell coming underneath my door. On top of getting ripped off $710 a month, I had to pay an additional $500 for my foolish decision to live there. The other place I lived at, the landlady joked about "smelling that smell" that one often smells in Boulder. Don't for a moment think, "it's boulder" there are snitches and uptight "C.A.'s" than lurk in the hellhole known as bear creek apartments. It's being run by CU now and one of the apartment buildings got dedicated to some schmuck and is now "Weber Hall at Bear Creek Apartments"--IT'S A DORM!

Don't be fooled by the gimmicks of the "buffbus", being furnished, and included utilities. The buff bus is not all that convenient, the furniture is uncomfortable, awkward and ugly. You'll still come out paying less if you live somewhere else and even if you pay a little more, you'll at least enjoy yourself. Bear Creek Apartments is as another mentioned, a dorm with a kitchen and a bathroom. Don't expect to have more than 4 people over at a time, and that's pushing it. I hope this place gets shut down and that snitch "C.A." snitches in jail someday.

Except when the responses aren't honest. When you sign the lease you agree you will not smoke in the apartment. No one says you can't smoke outside.

Funny thing is, I bet you and most the other "CSS"'s smoke and partake in underage drinking. My previous landlady joked about smelling pot in the hallways, albeit that being against the lease agreement. My senior year, spent in a friggin' dorm. Hey, at least you ------- CSS's get free room and board and can laugh about who you bust. Piss off. Maybe you know the guy, name was Alfano.

Same CSS as above here, and as far as I know not one of the CSS' smoke pot (or anything for that matter) or drink while underage (it helps that most of the CSS' are 21 ). It's definitely interesting that your previous landlady chose not to enforce her lease, but that's her prerogative. At Bear Creek, we enforce the contract, and since you signed it you are supposed to abide by it. I'm not trying to argue about your rights to smoke or not smoke, but since those were the rules you really shouldn't post a negative review about the apartments based on it. It was your decision to break the contract, and it's unfair to mark down the entire apartment complex because of it. And I definitely have never laughed at any misfortunes of our residents, so I'm not sure why you're telling me to "piss off". True, we get complimentary rent, but we don't go around "busting" people to earn it. EDIT > I didn't realize that ApartmentRatings.com would delete my previous post when I put in a new post. I don't want you to think that I'm trying to cover my tracks or anything, the website just deletes it.
