this place is absolutely horrible.
i moved into bear creek in january 07 due to its proximity to CU, and because it included furnishings and utilities.
they promised a shuttle to campus every 20mins and secure parking.

when i first moved in, i signed a lease through spring semester to the end of summer.
when may rolled around, however, i found out that they had lost my summer contract... thus i had to file for emergency leasing. they didnt seem to care that i didnt have anywhere else to go (i am out of state), so my mother had to fly up for a week and help me rent out a storage unit for 800 dollars to keep all my things in until they were able to find me a room.

during the summer, bear creek sells their buildings out to teaching conventions and high school cheerleaders.
they obviously have a higher premium during these months, because they will not hesitate to kick your ass out in favor of their renters.
they would not let me stay in my original 2-bedroom apartment because it had already been leased to a cheerleader.
although they moved me to a different, COMPLETELY EMPTY identical room, they couldnt take the time to switch them their summer guests over instead of someone with a year long lease.

after moving back into my regular room for fall semester, they screwed up AGAIN and gave my bedroom to another person.
and my mailbox.
even though i had the keys to both and had signed my lease under those specific numbers.
my drivers license and voters registration were even filed under those addresses.
the woman in the office (wendy) told me that this wasnt their problem, and that i was lying and had stolen my roommates keys... even though i had lived there a year longer than her.

by the time summer had rolled around, bear creek AGAIN "misplaced" my lease.
i moved to a non-university apartment down the street, and am totally happy with this decision.
the office staff is horrible and a bunch of liars.
they hate when kids live there over the summer because it is a money loss to them.
they hate doing their jobs and getting mail/packages delivered to tenants because it requires them getting out of a chair.

the walls are stupidly thin, and you can hear everything that goes on in all room bordering yours.
i know the names of the guys the girl in the room above me had sex with.
i know what her favourite position is.
bottom line- YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING.

i left that place SPOTLESS and i didnt even get my deposit back.
they are a bunch of cheap morons who want to make money.
