I suspect the positive reviews of Boardwalk are written by BW employees.
Boardwalk Realty is terrible. I paid an extremely high price for an apartment that was full of patched walls, old appliances, crappy painting and trim - just about everything in the apartment was worth half what I paid.
I've had them schedule repairs and miss the appointment one or two times.
On top of it - Boardwalk would not allocate parking spaces to renters in my buiding even though the building was originally designed that way. So I had to park on the street. Well - one day my car got _totalled_ while I was at work and I never figured out who did it. Obviously, I felt slighted because if I would've received a parking space it would've been physically impossible for my car to receive the damage it did. I called and aired my grievances to the main manager/owner - and he was unsympathetic. To say the least! I simply wanted to know why there were no allocated parking spaces - and if I could have one under my unusual circumstances. Instead I got yelled at and hung up on by Boardwalk Realty's primary manager.
Good luck with them! My advice is CYA - take photos when you move in and document everything with them!
