The management for this complex is terrible. I?m not talking about AIMCO per say but the people that run these specific apartments. They charge you for things that they shouldn?t, such as, if you fail to submit a letter of intent to leave even when your lease is up, they charge you two extra months. In addition, they tell you when you first move in that it is a dog friendly apartment where dogs often play with each other off leash and then you find out from the Humane Society that they call the Animal Control office to survey the grounds for off leash animals and hand out $60 tickets. Then when you ask them about it, they deny it completely. This is the sort of attitude that exudes from the management. They can be extremely rude and fake.

In addition, they don?t know what the apartments look like so I got signed into an apartment that looked nothing like the one that they showed me. Also, know that when you sign up for a garage, you may not cancel it for any time that you live in the apartments. They are expensive and you HAVE to keep them for the duration of your lease.

However, I will say that the grounds are great and well kept, the amenities are awesome... the pool and barbeque area are a great place to hang out during the summer. The hot tub is often broken, the gym sucks, but when the hot tub is working it is a great place to hang out.

The apartments are very spacious, come with lots of great perks (w/d, dw, spacious closets, beautiful interiors), and are beautiful in addition, the neighbors in the area are great (even though the walls are really thin). It?s a great community. I?ve made my best friends in this community and I am a student! All sorts of people live in this complex from students to families, to older couples. It?s really close to everything: grocery store, bus stops, gym, library are all across the street.

If you can manage to ignore the management COMPLETELY, this is a great place to live.
