I moved to The Boulders recently and must say I am truly disappointed.
Contacting the office is a mission, they must be really busy because each time I call, I get a voice mail. The person that answers the phone is not very friendly in her tone and the few times I spoke with her, I felt I was bothering or interrupting.
The noise from the construction is almost unbearable and nobody seems to regulate the time the construction company works at. They work well beyond the 6PM deadline, I called the office about it but nothing seems to be done, I guess because the office staff leaves at 6PM'
The apartment is nice but I don't have new appliances or carpet, actually my carpet was just cleaned (my neighbor is a friend and they did have new carpet and appliances with the old management)
The apartments are noisy and you can hear the neighbors watching TV. There has been a few parties here and there since I have been here that were pretty annoying.
The parking situation is really bad, there are plenty of cars that park in yellow lines on the weekends, making it impossible for the people parking in legal spots to get out. Again, had contacted the office about it and am still waiting for a solution.
Overall, the place is nothing special, and a little overpriced for what you are getting; the construction and finishing is cheap and a coat of paint won't change that. Also, the management needs to work out a few things in order to make it a really nice place to live. They may think that offering cookies and a dog park is enough, but proper management and a nicer attitude will be better.
