I moved here from a fancy-pants Boston apartment complex in early July and had to take the apartment sight unseen. That said, the building managers took amazing care to return my calls, answer all my questions, and ultimately pick an apartment for me based on my guidelines. Specifically, I worked with Suzannah on getting my place. As it is, I have the best view in the complex, and since I don't have a car, I was placed as close as possible to the walkway out to the main roads, which is SO helpful. As a single female student, I can't help but worry about people taking advantage of me by accepting my money and not delivering much in return, but Suzannah was unbelievable good to me. I know a lot of neighbors are upset about the change in management, but as someone who never knew the old managers, all I can say is that Peggy and Suzannah are lovely women who do a wonderful job taking care of this building. The apartment is the best place I have ever lived in (and about $700 cheaper than anywhere in Boston), and when I first moved to this new city, Suzannah and Peggy both helped me feel less lonely and scared. I'm a student now, and many of my schoolmates complain about their apartments being poorly managed by individuals who are not capable or reliable about maintenance, and I have also heard a lot of bad stories about bugs. I have yet to experience any problem of this nature in my place, and I'm so glad to be here.
