Everything you read about the parking situation is totally true. You only have one spot per apartment, which is difficult when i have 3 roommates who all have cars. the leasing office took notice of the complaints and took a survey on what residents would like to do (either have a parking spot you can count on getting or open parking and take your chances, but have a chance to park closer). unfortunately, there are many residents there that are used to getting everything they want and actually voted to keep their parking spots thus keeping the parking situation the same...one spot per apartment. they all wanted to have a guaranteed spot but also wanted to have more parking availability. what they failed to realize is that the leasing office is not hiding parking spaces from us and if we just asked for them they'd magically appear. overall i blame the other residents for our unappealing parking situation.
as for the management, i have found them extremely friendly. they know my name even though hardly stop by. the maintence staff is pretty friendly too, if you take the time to say hi. they have fixed every thing promptly, except for one heating situation which is more my fault because i never followed up with them.
the pricing is typical Boulder pricing. i really couldn't expect it to be any cheaper with how nice and close to campus the apartments are.
the other residents, i have found, are really friendly. i have met more people here then anywhere else i have lived before. they allow dogs so i think that provides the opportunity to chat with neighbors.
if you can afford it or if you don't mind sharing a room to make it affordable (which is what my roommates and i do), i would definitely recomment this spot. oh! one other bad thing is that some of the apartments get traffic noise from 36, so i would recommend getting one of the ones away from that side of the complex. other than that, it has been a nice place to live.
