This place is loud, and if you call the police with a noise complaint they'll laugh at you for living here. It's surrounded by frats/sororities and is definitely the loudest place in Boulder. If you're a prototypical college douchebag who is overweight (but you think you're jacked) with a serious Napoleon complex, but you're convinced you're cool b/c you hook up with lots of (fugly) chicks, this is THE PLACE FOR YOU!
The place was built over 30 yrs ago very cheaply so you can feel your neighbors open doors and can feel people walk by. There are constantly freshman who don't have parties to go to walking around and around the building, every weekend. There's a group of kids in a neighboring apartment that constantly sets off fireworks at all hours of the night. And there's broken glass everywhere.
Parking is a nightmare. According to the lease parking is not guaranteed, its a first-come-first-serve basis.
Pros: pre-furnished, has a pool, "good" location
Neutral: the staff is ok, don't give you any problems, maintenance is usually taken care of quickly. Despite the fact that the grounds around the building are covered with pizza boxes, red plastic cups, and beer bottles at the end of every weekend, maintenance does not charge you to pick that stuff up.
The only hidden fees are the heating bills that you pay twice in the winter.
