Okay, but WAY too expensive

We've lived here for a year, and did renew our lease for another 10 months mostly to avoid the hassle of moving again, but we're now regretting our decision. Although this is a quiet community, and the gym is nice, it's not worth the price. Our advice to new (student) residents of Boulder - look around, talk to other students, there are better deals than you can find online! On the upside, for being a small apartment it is layed out very nicely.
ADDENDUM: Canterwood has changed management ownership since I last wrote this. I haven't noticed a distinct difference in the office management staff, however I would encourage renters to take the initiative and talk to Village Green. I did - when we got our renewal notice again the prices seemed way too high and so I called and spoke with the Village Green Manager. He himself was suprised at the rate, and was very open and honest with me. Although there's nothing that he can do for our situation of only needing 1 more month before moving out of state, I would highly encourage others to go above the office management's head. Also, pay close attention to your "base price" of the apartment - ours kept climbing up and up, beyond what I was told was the cap for the apartment. I have faith that if enough residents call Village Green something will be done (maybe I'm ideallistic, but it's worth a shot).
