This place looks worse from the street than the apts actually are. I moved in here when I needed to move abruptly and was very tight on funds and ended up staying 3 yrs (!!!) However, maintenance is minimal and glacially slow-repeated calls are always required. I finally moved because I didn't want to spend another year without the wall mounted A/C unit being replaced.
The upside is that you are left alone and not hassled as long as you pay your rent on time.
Upsides: Rent is an incredibly great value for the area and they aren't constantly raising the rent.
Close to new campus bus route
It seemed pretty safe.
Easy traffic routes in and out of Boulder and to the park & ride close to Boulder Creek Trail see deer behind building in the mornings small building small storage closet available to all tenants at no extra charge in Boulder itself so easy to get high-speed internet if desired.
Downside-parking lot floods in heavy rain really, really slow maintenance requests (but done right when they finally get around to it) not enough washers & dryers ugly building & grounds next door to Gold Run (which IS noisy) no decks except for the townhouses can be slow to deposit rent check
I'm recommending it as a "good value for the money", but there are definitely "nicer" places out there. IF they would clean up and paint the whole building and do a little fixup it really would be a good place and truly easy to recommend as an affordable basic apartment.
