Horrible Management

I live here for a year with a roommate from 6/02-6/03 and it was a horrible experience. Yes, it was pretty cheap, but not worth it, IMHO. The staff was horribly untrained and never did anything that they said they would do.

The biggest problem that I had with them is that I signed the lease to move in June 1, but the apartment wasn't ready until June 11. They aparently forget to check up on the people that were moving out to make sure that they were moving out before leasing the place to us. Even though we signed a the lease well in advance (early May), there was nothing that we could do legally. Sure, they prorated the rent for the month, but both me and my roommate worked in Boulder and we were out of a place to live for 10 days (My roommate and I crashed with my parents in Aurora during the time and endured the hour long drive to/from work every day).

We always paid our rent on time, but got TWO eviction notices for being late on our rent without cause. The first time was because they charged us for utilities from the old tenants to our account and their computers told them that we owed then money. The second time was because the management forgot to put in our payment into the computers.

The place was horribly 'preped' for us before we moved in: The oven did not work when we first moved in. Several electrical outlets did not work. There was a large hole in one of the walls for the cable cord to go through. There were large burn marks in the carpet in my room. There were large stains in the carpet in my roommate's room.

One time, the toilet failed during the weekend and we paged the on-call maintanance guy to get it fixed. It took him one full day to return the call and another full day to fix the toilet. During this time, my roommate and I were forced to us our neighbor's bathroom.

The office frequently opened late. I would ocassionally stop by to drop off rent before I went to work, but the office opened at least an hour late several times. They said the office was open on Saturdays, but everytime I stopped by on Saturdays, it was closed. Speaking with them the next day, they said that it wasn't open since they had no one to work that day. If you're not going to open the office at least tell the residents so we don't waste our time waiting for you.

The place was horrible. I would never recommend it to anyone. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
