First of all, these apartments are clearly geared at students. If you are not an student, I would not reccomend living here. These are budget apartments.
I am a junior and I have been living at Creekside for a year and a half now. I have had no major issues with the management or the building in general. Yes, the units are small, but they are functional. (I think I'm in one of the nicer units.) The furniture that comes with the units is clean and last summer Creekside replaced the couches in my apartment. Just as a comparison, I think the furniture here is much better than that found in Bear Creek (but theirs is pretty bad). Also, my rent was lowered when I renewed my lease.
The building is quiet for the most part. I generally can't hear anything from the units around me unless they turn they really crank up their bass speakers. I can't hear the people above me at all.
Parking is free, which is a rarity this close to campus. I can almost always park very close to the entrance. The location of these apartments is also excellent. They are on all of the busses up to campus (Skip, Dash, 204) as well as most of the regional busses to Denver and the Bound. Additionally, it's only a 15-20 minute walk to the engineering center.
Now, the things I don't like: 1) The hallways are rather scary looking. If you ever visit the building you will know what I mean. There's often trash in the hallways/elevators/stairwells after stupid drunk people party on the weekends, but these messes usually get cleaned up quickly. (I generally don't hear the parties, though) 2) No counter space in the bathrooms. I knew this coming in, but I still don't like it. 3) The kitchens are tiny. They do have a dishwasher, however (on wheels!) unlike most other apartments in the price range.
Aside from these drawbacks, this is a good place for a non-wealthy student to live.
