Maybe.

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I had to find a place quickly, so these apartments were the only ones I looked at and signed right away.
Positives:
1. VERY close to campus. You can probably walk to business/engineering buildings in less than 10 minutes.
2. The grounds are pretty well kept.
3. For people who love fire places, this is definitely a plus. However, I prefer I didn't have one...
4. My balcony was huge compared to my room. It seemed to be almost the same size as my "living room"
5. The apartments go from studios to one bedrooms so the tenants you meet all seem to live by themselves so there are less parties especially during the week days.
6. The maintenance seems to be busy all year round and sometimes have to come back several times, but in the end, everything gets fixed.
Negatives:
1. The walls are really thin. You can hear your neighbors blow their noses. The bathroom walls seem even more thin. Just hope that your neighbors are quiet or never there.
2. There is only one laundry room on the first floor and sometimes they are not open until in the afternoon. Plus, if you are coming from the dorms or if you are used to being charged just a dollar, bring extra change or get them from the office.
3. The office is permanently closed, so you have to walk across the parking lots to get to the Timber Ridge office.
4. Things are falling apart and rusting.
5. Parking is horrible! The parking lots are very small to start off with. You can park for less than 5 minutes and when you get to your car, they will demand that you pay $60 and accept only cash. The parking enforcement isn't harsh during the day because you can park without a permit and they don't seem to care, but they check often at night and when you are walking to the parking lot in the morning, you can see at least one car that got ticketed. They seem to be in desperate need for money.
6. The price is ridiculous. If you have the lofts, then you get more space but the prices are still horrible for what you get. You can get pretty good sized places for $50-100 cheaper if you get something that is just a little bit farther.
7. You don't have much storage space. The closets are very small and you get only one.
Overall, if you are a CU Boulder student, you have a lot of money to spend monthly(or don't have any other choices), don't mind a little noise from time to time, don't have a car, don't want to walk far or ride the bus to school, love fireplaces, and love trees, then I definitely recommend this place. If not, I suggest that you don't come near this place. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
