Eastpointe is a great place for students looking for a place close (but not too close) to campus. It has easy access to the Boulder Creek bike path, and is right along the Jump route for an easy commute to class. The landlady is extremely nice, and very generous, and despite accidentally missing the rent deadlines once or twice she was completely understanding and let me turn it in late without any penalty whatsoever. The apartment's fixtures and appliances were a bit old, but for the most part functional and more than adequate for a couple of students. If your looking for a nice, quiet affordable retreat still close to campus, this is the place.
