Now, I have lived in some awful apartments. AWFUL. Once, I lived in a place that burned down, and I lost everything, because some guy was making meth and passed out, leaving his "lab" to explode. At my last apartment, the landlords were hideously negligent, and it smelled like gas, constantly. This place, it is WAY better than any other place I have lived. WAY better. The layout is nice and clean, these apartments are very spacious and quite affordable, plenty of closets, and though they are very old, they stay in good condition. The maintenance, however, is SLOW. I haven't had closet doors in a month, since I've moved in, and the maintenance guy came yesterday, measured the closet space, and said he'd be back up in MINUTES and he *never came back.* It took a month to get our locks fixed, because the door would never stay locked, though when I called Kathy, the manager, about it the last time it was fixed immediately. Kathy is very, very nice, by the way, and will do her best to accommodate. One more thing: they keep the giant old air conditioners on the PATIO. They're EYESORES. But there's nothing anyone can do about them, so you got to work around it. Like another post said, however, for every bad thing, there is a good thing.
