I've lived in 2 different apartments in the complex and in both apartments that I lived in lighting fixtures were missing when I moved in and were never replaced.

There are a lot of cats that roam around the property and they like to hide in the dumpsters and jump out at you.

The manager Kathy is nice but is extremely forgetful.

I've lived here for over a year and she still doesn't recognize me sometimes.

I told her when I moved into the second apartment that I needed a six month lease, and we agreed on a rent price, but when I went to sign the lease she had me down for one year and for a much higher price than we had agreed on.

A week after I moved in I lost my keys and I went to Kathy to see if I could copy the spare, and she told me that she had lost her copy of my key too, so I had to climb up to the second floor and crawl in through my window to get into my apartment and then pay to get the locks re-keyed.

The walls in the apartment are very thin, if I don't have the radio or tv on I can hear every word that my neighbors are saying.

I get woken up in the middle of the night if the neighbors shut a door too loudly.

There are signs that say that the property is under video surveillance, but one night my car got broken into and I went to Kathy to see if we could review the tape to see who it was, and she told me that only the area around the office is monitered.

Also, the sprinklers that water the grass are set way too wide and it's impossible to get to my car in the morning without getting soaked.

I'm a poor college student so I can't afford to live anywhere else, but if I could move somewhere else I definitely would.

I've lived at eastpointe for many years and finally moved bc we got a house. I have to say the person who wrote this is full of crap. 1st of all the managment and this place is awesome, they're always on top of the work orders submitted. I've lost my keys before and had absolutely no problem with them getting me a new set, I almost had to get my door re-keyed but was assured that it would be taken care of for me. The property is well kept beautiful in the summer time, and they always maintain salted sidewalks in the winter. Kathy has always been so sweet and even come to help AFTER HOURS! I lived there in college and reccomended it to my girlfriends, 2 of whom still live there. Eastpointe is a great place to live for a college student or a family. Rent is a set price there's no negotiating so you know what you're going to get from the beginning. Sounds like the person above is bitter about something!
