odd old place in great location

Very strange 50 year old building. Hotel-like rooms - possibly a hotel/dorm in the past' Includes very very old tacky furniture - they should get rid of this stuff. Minimal maintenance, groundswork and cleaning - will not win any beauty prizes. Overall it is very cheap for the great location at the edge of CU campus on the Hop line and right on the Boulder creek trail! Electricity and heat are included - lots of free reliable hot water. Frequent appliance problems got fixed. Staff is very pleasant, though there seems to be new office management every year. The primary drawback is that some residents can be a bit noisy, and there is very little soundproofing in those old walls. I got lucky and only had one very noisy neighbor in 2.5 years. (better than expected, being so near CU) Great location and good value for cheapskates like me. Saved a LOT of money living there.
