Lived here for a year, GREAT location, near CU, Pearl, 28th and the creek. Rooms are all same size (I think) with seperate large closet and bath. No overhead lighting in main area. Kitchen unit is a in the closet 1950's deal (3 electric burners and tiny oven) that is OK for a college student who is cheap, but not acceptable for anyone else. The building allows smoking, it's biggest downfall, it makes the whole place feel old and dirty. Ramified by the fact that the building is old. On the whole I didn't mind living there, as long as you don't mind wierd neighboors (old smoking alcoholics) and the outward apperance of old and dirty.
FYI discuss rental rates, some tennants pay $400 while others pat $650 for the same room. Landlord is nice, as long as your not stupid, read what you sign and follow the rules, if you need/want to break them ask him, usually he'll say OK once or twice (within reason). If you party all night you'll get the boot though, as you should.
Good well light parking (uncovered) GREAT location, the biggest thing going for it. I don't know about maintenance, never had any real problems, but I think it was good. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
