As others have posted, the location of Harvest Manor is one of the most convenient in all of Boulder. I haven't needed a car at all. Everything I've needed is within walking/biking distance; if not several bus routes are within a block or two of the building.
Unlike the last guy who posted, I've never had an issue with any other residents (nor witnessed any drunks or chain smoking!). Being so close to CU campus, I thought it would be all students here -- just the opposite. It's actually a healthily diverse community, which, I think is good for everyone. I've actually developed a couple decent friendships living here.
I've only had one problem in my apartment since moving in (the garbage disposal) and the maintenance guy (Jim') fixed it immediately. The manager (Chad) started working here last year. I'll just say the difference is night and day (the physical appearance and the quality of residents). He and the other guys are always friendly and seem to be on top of everything. Nice work guys!
The building is not going to win first prize in a beauty contest, but overall, you won't find a better place for this price.
