I highly recommend living here, if you can afford it.

I live at Kensington Apartments at this time. The living environment is good; be prepared for living in and around C.U. students, some who still insist that stereos at the loudest setting are best-- but to generally say that this is a quiet place to live is fair. There is limited access into the buildings, so security is good, but some of the responsibility of security here falls to the residents, of course. The staff is very good, as is the office management. You are in walking distance of bus stops and campus. There is an underground garage which is heated in wintertime. The property is @32 years old, so don't expect the Waldorf Astoria. Yes, it is expensive, but don't bother looking in Boulder if you desire cheap rent. Kensington reflects the market. I checked. And....there is a sauna, steamroom, and indoor pool. And the party room will soon be remodeled and open. The flooding happened in one building (there are four, total)and ALL damage was repaired, and the affected apartments have been remodeled. The damage occurred as a result of roofing contractor negligence (as I've been told by other residents).
