I lived at Kensington for a year and, overall, I really liked it. The location was my favorite part. I could easily walk to class at CU, or take the Bound to the 29th Street mall.
For it's price point, the amenities and location were quite good.
Although the hallways are very reminiscent of the 1970s with the weird red carpet and dim lighting, the apartment interiors are very normal.
There's also an elevator that goes all the way down to the garage. That was very convenient when bringing groceries home.
I never encountered any noise related problems. That is to say, I never was bothered by noise and I never got complaints for being noisy. For an apartment, the walls seem pretty thick.
There's a heated parking garage that you can pay to use underneath the building. My only complaint about the garage was that it didn't have a very high clearance- so if you have an S.U.V. or a truck, you've got to remember to take your ski rack off!
The front office was helpful and friendly, although they sometimes seemed take really long breaks at inconvenient times.
Also, my apartment sometimes got unbearably hot during the summer and late spring, but I remember the heating working really well.

Is there a specific location within the apt. complex you would recommend? I'm considering living there and I'm curious. Also, do you think it's a safe place to live? (aside from your score in the review) Thanks!!
