When I moved in here there were alot of little things that were over looked and not fixed before i moved in. The building was old with no updates.

i agree about the noise, and yes, some things were not fixed. some of them were taken care of, but some of them were not. it seems nice when you look at them, but when you live in them, is kind of a different story.......

Could you give any specific examples of things that were old/needed updating/repair?
Is it just rustic, or are things decrepit and actually falling apart?
Also, you didn't say anything about noise, but the response to your post did: could you elaborate on this at all?
